Level 1 Firearms Safety and Training classes teach students what they need to qualify for the Idaho Standard CCW or the Idaho Enhanced CCW permit. 

The best way to learn, is to be engaged. The best way to be engaged is to get students involved through class participation.

Our “

Legal Instruction Class

” allows you to speak, one-on-one with a an attorney who can answer questions the class may be interested in understanding at a deeper level.

It doesn’t matter if you are attending a basic class, an enhanced class, or a tactical class, the “learn by doing” approach always applies for every class we teach.

All of our Boise CCW classes are based on tried and true
training methods which are deeply rooted from classes
offered by the National Rifle Association (NRA).  Each
class meets NRA and the

Standard Carry and
Concealed Weapons license requirements. This allows
students the greatest flexibility in achieving their



at the same time as their

NRA certifications

Idaho Carry and Concealed Weapons Class

We also offer a separate class specifically for students who are interested in attaining a Standard Carry and Concealed Weapons Permit or the Enhanced Carry and Concealed Weapons Permit. This class, which is approved by the ADA Sheriff department and is focused solely on achieving the
Standard or the Enhanced CCW Permit.

The Class consists of 3 Parts:

Idaho Standard CCW Class

: To qualify for the Standard CCW permit, students must attend the first 4 hours (+/-) of our Enhanced Carry and Concealed Weapons class.

Idaho Enhanced CCW Class

: To qualify for the Enhanced Carry and Concealed Permit, students must attend the second half of the class (roughly 4 hours) to meet the 8 hour class requirement and for discharging at least 98 rounds of ammunition.

Idaho Enhanced CCW Legal Instruction Class

: To complete training, students who are applying for the Enhanced CCW Permit must attend the Legal Instruction Class.

The first map shows states which accept the Standard Carry and Concealed Weapons License; the second map shows states where the Enhanced Carry and Concealed Weapons License is accepted. Areas appearing in yellow require you are a resident of Idaho.
