Idaho Carry and Concealed Class

Idaho Concealed Carry Class Overview

We are a family focused group of instructors dedicated to delivering a quality
firearm concealed carry class in a safe and secure concealed carry class
environment. We focus on involving as many members of your family during our
concealed carry class to ensure everyone, regardless of age, behaves
appropriately when around a firearm in Idaho.
Many students are new to a formal Idaho carry concealed class. They come to us expecting to be treated with
respect, taught in a professional manner, and to teach them how to use their firearm properly. We believe our job is
to engage our students with thoughtful discussion, class demonstrations, encouraging drills and practical exercises
that will improve their firearms skills.
We have both male and female instructors conducting our Idaho Concealed Carry Class. Some Idaho Concealed Carry
class students have a preference to be taught by a class instructor of the same sex while others prefer the opposite;
some Idaho students have no preference. Our class has both male and female instructors.

A Typical Idaho Concealed Carry Class

When you attend an

Idaho Concealed Carry Class

,
there are certain requirements that have to be met during class. Like any concealed carry class, there’s a mixture of lectures, practical demonstrations, interaction with students, ensuring students comprehend the Idaho Concealed Carry class lessons, and allowing plenty of time for the class to practice, ask questions, and review their Idaho concealed carry class plan. The Idaho concealed carry class is broken down into logical steps that are built upon throughout the day.

Idaho Concealed Carry Safety Class

The Idaho concealed carry class begins with the most basic of firearm safety
rules, storage, and responsibility. The class teaches the fundamental rules of
firearm safety during class followed by additional rules which are designed to
ensure an “accidental” discharge never occurs. It is the responsibility of the
Idaho gun owner to secure their weapon in a safe or to use a safety device that
prevents unauthorized usage. Securing firearms from unauthorized access in
Idaho is extremely important and can prevent the needless tragedies we have
witnessed in the past when an unstable person goes on a gun shooting spree.

Understanding your Idaho Concealed Carry Firearm Class

If you don’t understand your firearm, how it works, why it works, and what size ammunition it takes - can cause serious injury to yourself and others. During this class, an overview of basic pistol mechanisms and their operations are discussed. We compare a revolver to a semi-automatic pistol, explain each of their strengths and weaknesses, and then focus on the students personal weapon of choice. This is a very interactive time during class as students get to “showcase” their firearm and explain why they prefer it over others (don’t worry, there’s no ammunition allowed in the class.

Building Idaho Concealed Carry Shooting Skills Class

Students who are new to an Idaho concealed carry class, and even those who have
attended an Idaho concealed carry class in the past, will learn basic shooting styles
and positions. During our Idaho concealed carry class, the students will conduct
“dry-fire” exercises (dry-fire means no live ammunition). The Idaho concealed carry
class covers topics such as breath control, hold control, trigger control and more.
The concealed carry class teaches advanced shooting positions and students are
asked to practice each of them. As our Idaho concealed carry class is building up
to “live-fire” exercises at the range, the Idaho concealed carry class is provided with
information about the common shooting errors that occur, how to correct them, and
how to improve target acquisition. The Idaho concealed carry class closes with a
discussion and demonstration of common pistol stoppages and how to correct
them.
