We compare a revolver to a semi-automatic pistol, explain each of their strengths and weaknesses, and then focus on the students personal weapon of choice. This is a very interactive time during class as students get to “showcase” their firearm and explain why they prefer it over others (don’t worry, there’s no ammunition allowed in the class.
Building Idaho Concealed Carry Shooting Skills Class
Students who are new to an Idaho concealed carry class, and even those who have
attended an Idaho concealed carry class in the past, will learn basic shooting styles
and positions. During our Idaho concealed carry class, the students will conduct
“dry-fire” exercises (dry-fire means no live ammunition). The Idaho concealed carry
class covers topics such as breath control, hold control, trigger control and more.
The concealed carry class teaches advanced shooting positions and students are
asked to practice each of them. As our Idaho concealed carry class is building up
to “live-fire” exercises at the range, the Idaho concealed carry class is provided with

The State of Idaho requires students applying for the
Idaho Enhanced Concealed Carry Permit License
to fire 98+ rounds of ammunition during the Idaho Concealed Carry Permit License class.
Once students have completed the range class and qualification shoot, they will be issued a class certificate of completion together with a signed form for the State of Idaho stating the student has met the
class and range requirements for the Idaho Enhanced Concealed Carry Weapons Permit License
. Students will need to attend their legal instruction class to meet the remaining requirements for the Idaho Enhanced Concealed Carry Permit License. Students who have already attended a legal class must bring their signed form to the range so the firearm instructor can sign-off on the firearms portion of the application. Once a student receives their Idaho Enhanced Concealed Carry Permit License, they will be able to carry concealed in the states listed below.
