Level 1 Firearms Safety and Training requires factory-new ammunition with full-jacket bullets. Our requirement is in place to ensure the safety of our instructors and students caused by poorly manufactured ammunition.

The following ammunition is not permitted:
Ammunition will be checked prior to shooting at the range. If you are unsure your ammunition is safe, please purchase a fresh supply before arriving for your shooting qualification time.

We know of one manufacturer, American Ammunition that place or "wash" their projectiles which make them appear to be a copper bullet--we do not accept ammunition manufacture by American Ammunition.

Ammunition made by American Eagle is perfectly acceptable!

If you would like additional information about the different types of ammunition that's available or information on how ammunition works, please see our "
About Ammunition" page.
