Addtional Information

The NRA allows state-recognized firearm instructors to teach the legal portion of the NRA class provided we meet the state’s
requirements as concealed carry firearms instructors. Level 1 Firearms Safety and Training Instructors are officially recognized by the
ADA and Canyon County Sheriff’s Departments as authorized instructors.
The State of Idaho has its own, separate requirement, which has nothing to do with the NRA courses we offer. In order to qualify as
receiving legal training for the

Idaho Enhanced Carry and Concealed Weapons License

, the legal instruction must be
conducted by a board certified Idaho Attorney, a POST 3 Law Enforcement Instructor, or a member of the Idaho Bar Association.
These are authorized, legally qualified representatives who can answer direct legal questions, render opinions, and provide you with a
direct, lawful answer to your question.

This is an in-depth lecture and classroom style environment which focuses on the many laws that affect gun owners, particularly as
they apply in Idaho. The class is presented by a licensed Idaho attorney who specializes in firearm laws and whose interest is in
keeping students out of trouble-before, during, or after having to protect themselves with a firearm. If time permits, students are
encouraged to ask questions, speaking one-on-one with an attorney, just as if they had made an appointment at the attorney’s office.
